Sarah and I were blessed to visit Maui almost 25 years ago, for our 10th anniversary, and we spent a lot of time in Lahaina town.
The photo below was taken while we were on a whale-watching tour, and although we didn't see any whales, I did find this shot interesting with the sailboat that had run aground.
But to know that all of Front Street and this entire area along the shoreline shown in this photo is now gone is just so hard to comprehend. We thoroughly enjoyed this quaint area of Maui and were considering going back next spring for our 35th anniversary.
