There are several blogs I read on a regular basis...many are photographers such as Scott Kelby, Rick Sammon and Bill Fortney. Joe McNally is another I follow regularly.  He has shot for the top magazines including National Geographic, Sports Illustrated and Time.  He is known for his lack of fear when it comes to climbing to the most unusual places to get the shot.

This video is a recent post where Joe climbed to the top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai...and all I can say is wow!  This is incredible!
